Performance of special need children of Abhoy Mission in Divya Kala Shakti program held in Rashtrapati Bhawan
On invitation of Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD) under Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment and effort of the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Govt. of India, the special need children of Abhoy Mission participated in National Cultural Event: Divya Kala Shakti in Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi. Expenditure for to & fro aerial journey and accommodation of participants was borne by DEPwD. Screening process for the teams took place on 4th & 5th April, 2019. To provide a colourful shape to the program, the DEPwD, Govt. of India made arrangement for rehearsal for the participants from 15th April. Final event was taken place at Rashtrapati Bhaban on 18th April, Evening. Special Need Children of Tripura performed Mamita Dance, a traditional dance of Tripura State there. Special Need children artists exchanged greetings with Hon'ble President of India, Sri Ram Nath Kovind
