Makar Sankranti Celebration, 2021

Makar Sankranti was observed in Abhoy Ashram on 14 January, 2021. All the preparation was started from 13th January by all the children and elderly persons residing in the Ashram. Activities like drawing of Alpona (Raangoli with Rice flour paste) in the courtyard, preparation of sweets with Jaggery and rice flour was started from previous day of Sankranti. On the very day of festival a puja was organized followed by distribution of sweets and fruits as prashada. The day was celebrated by the children and the elderly together while arranging dancing and singing.
